Mission

JMU Libraries Technical Services is dedicated to acquiring, organizing, delivering, and preserving information sources for the JMU faculty and students. Technical Services promotes the quality of its services by ensuring timeliness, accuracy, adherence to standards, and accessibility. In a changing technological environment, Technical Services assists users by providing access to information sources within and beyond the Libraries' collections.

Goals & Objectives

Each department within Technical Services annually reviews the L&ET Strategic Plan 2008-2013.   Each department establishes its objectives and attaches each to a specific L&ET goal and objective.  Departments may also establish collaborative objectives within Technical Services.  A leader and expected completion date is identified for each project.
